Christ is King.

Hey sis—you didn’t land here by accident.

Maybe you scanned this out of curiosity. Maybe you needed something today.

Don’t miss this moment, beautiful.

The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the King of Israel!”

Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

what they saw.

Girl… can you even picture this?

Not some quiet, polite parade.
This was a full-on street explosion of hope.

People running.
Shouting.
Grabbing whatever they had—palm branches, their best robes, anything—throwing it down like a red carpet because…

the King was coming.

They celebrated!

And don’t miss this…

Those weren’t polished, put-together people with closets full of options.
Those robes? Probably the only one they had.

What a beautiful sight it must have been.

And that donkey He rode in on?
Girl, that wasn’t random humility.

It was a deliberate royal statement—a bold, prophetic declaration in front of massive Passover crowds.

They had rehearsed this hope for generations… and here it was, unfolding right in front of them.

This is Him.
The One they had been waiting for.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”
“Blessed is the King of Israel.”

Hosanna. Save us.

They were right to celebrate—they just didn’t yet see how big this moment really was.

But we do.

This wasn’t just a King arriving.
This was the King of kings taking His rightful place.

Not temporary.
Not symbolic.
Not someday.

Right then.

Jesus Christ is King.

And just days later…

He was crucified.
Then He rose again.

Not the rescue they expected—but the salvation we needed.

He made a way for eternal redemption.

Through grace, He opened the door to restoration, to belonging, to life with Him.

Our Christ. Jesus. Our King.

Forever.
